How to install HI-FLOW lump kits

Standard HI-FLOW kit
Lump Port Installation Tools Needed: 3/8 allen x 1/2 ratchet drive to drive Allen bolts in head 3 Drill bits: 9/32 for counter sinking Holding bolt 11/64 for #8 bolt through the head #29 for drilling hole to thread in lump To cut Flush Bottom hole for head bolt: 25/32 End mill bit (or) 1/2" Cap screw counter sink/bore 1/2" Pipe tap #8 Screw Tap |
Premium HI-FLOW kit
Premium Lump Port Installation Tools Needed: 3/8 allen x 1/2" drive socket to drive Allen bolts in head(long reach) 2 Drill bits: 9/32 for counter sinking Holding bolt Sized bit for #6 screw through the lump into the head To cut Flush Bottom hole for head bolt: 25/32 End mill bit (or) 1/2" Cap screw counter sink/bore 1/2" Pipe tap #6 Screw Tap |

Tips:
1. Do not install into a intake port that has been ported. Lump will not fill up port. 2. When milling flat spot for 1/2"cap bolt in head. Mill to same level as lower lip of intake port. No deeper. 3.Only torq 1/2"cap bolt to 85-90 lbs. 4. Seal plugs with Ultra Black RTV. 5. Port head after lump installation. email if questions [email protected] or call 319 310-6920 Tom Lowe |
