This plate is to be bolted to the bottom of a Intake to supply water heat to the bottom of carburetor. For dependable fault free running of your engine, heating the intake base is needed.

On a Offy intake there are 2 steel plugs on the bottom. These need to be removed and have aluminum pieces welded on to seal the holes. Otherwise you will have a coolant leak.

This will also bolt to a stock GM intake when using headers or dual manifolds

Use Ultra Grey RTV to form the seal between manifold and heat plate.

To supply heated water to this plate. Run 1 line from the drain of block to heat plate, run second line from heat plate to the thermostat housing.
