Tie bar style USA made Hydraulic Roller Lifters. Set of 6 pair (enough for a 6 cyl)

The bolt boss's for the side covers must be shortened approximately .150 to clear the tie bar on install. A washer can be used to make up this space on the side cover bolt.

Also offering Solid Mechanical Roller lifters

For either set, push rod length will need to be measured and custom push rods ordered.

The standard Hydraulic roller lifter is rated to 135 lbs seat pressure closed valve, the HI Rev version is rated to 165 LBS

Preferred oil will have a centistroke measurement below 15 @100 degrees. Oils such as VR1 10W30 will meet this. 10w40-15w40 or 20w 50 do not.

The block must be modified to install roller lifters with a tie bar. The bolt boss must be machined down to clear the tie bar to slide the lifter into the block. We do offer a nice tool that can be used with a drill to facilitate your install. Check out the pics below. This is a 250 block. The boss started at .538 tall. After cutting it is .325 tall. Only enough material is removed to allow free travel of tie bar past the boss for install. During operation the tie bar is always below the boss.
Also pay attention to distance needed on back side of lifter to get installed. On a 292 this is more evident. Allow .030 clearance to get them slid into the block. Shown in pics below. You may need to die grind material for clearance.
