A hard to find part to complete your 292, will also work with 230-250, you will need to add you own oil level marks (easy to do). Simply fill your engine with the normal fill of oil minus 1 quart. Insert dipstick and use that level to mark the LOW. Same process for the full. Just add 1 quart and mark FULL.

For 194 230 250 low mark is 3 quarts, high is 4 quarts

292 low mark is 4 quarts, high is 5 quarts

Keep in mind if putting on a fresh oil filter at same time. The oil filter normally holds 1 quart.

Put a thin coat of ultra black rtv on outside tip. 

Get a 5/16 bolt and put inside of tube at top .

Drive in lightly with a hammer to the paint line
