These pistons are made for use with stock 292 rods. Best piston/ ring combo you can buy for stock - performance rebuild. Sometimes considered Propane or LP pistons.

These performance pistons will raise the compression to a better level. A stock piston uses a 30CC dish, these have a 18CC dish and a better compression height to need less decked off the block to zero deck.

1 set of High quality forged Ross pistons

1 set of Premium low friction rings

1 set of Wrist pins

1 set of spirolocs If used on floating rods

9.5 Compression with 70CC head and Zero deck.

Can also be used with pressed pin rods (stock)

These are marked as 23 LBs only to be able to ship as a insured package.

Food for thought

Got some weights for comparison.

This is comparing the entire assy. Rod, piston, rings, wrist pin and bearings.

Stock/ 1635 grams

Stock/replacement piston/ rod 1583 grams

Ross piston, rod, modern rings 1405 grams.

What will 1/2 lb do to the way a engine revs and react? Per cylinder.
