Ross 292 Pistons
These pistons are made for use with stock rods. Best piston/ ring combo you can buy for stock - performance rebuild.
These performance pistons will raise the compression to a better level. A stock piston uses a 30CC dish, these have a 18CC dish and a better compression height to need less decked off the block to zero deck.
1 set of High quality forged Ross pistons
1 set of Premium low friction rings
1 set of Wrist pins
1 set of spirolocs If used on floating rods
Can also be used with pressed pin rods (stock)
These are marked as 23 LBs only to be able to ship as a insured package.
Food for thought
Got some weights for comparison.
This is comparing the entire assy. Rod, piston, rings, wrist pin and bearings.
Stock/ 1635 grams
Stock/replacement piston 1583 grams
Ross piston, billet rod, modern rings 1405 grams.
What will 1/2 lb do to the way a engine revs and react? Per cylinder.
