THESE MOUNTS ARE INTENDED FOR MOUNTING A 1962-89 VINTAGE 194, 230, 215, 250 or 292
INTO A 1949-54 CHEVY CAR. MAY WORK IN OTHER APPLICATIONS. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING.
OFFSET MOUNT IS FOR THE DRIVERS SIDE TO CLEAR THE STEERING
CLEARS STOCK STEERING ON A 1949-54 CAR.
CLEARS STOCK EMERGENCY BRAKE.
CLEARS SANDEN 508 A/C COMPRESSOR.
WORKS WITH ALL OF OUR A/C, P/S AND ALTERNATOR BRACKETS.
WORKS WITH CAST IRON HEADERS.
WORKS WITH TUBE STEEL HEADERS.
AND YES, IT INCLUDES THE RUBBER MOUNTS…
REQUIRES WELDING OF FRAME BRACKET TO CAR FRAME. USE YOUR FABRICATION SKILSS TO TURN THEM INTO BOLT-ON IF YOU LIKE.
BASICALLY, IF YOU HAVE A 4 SIDED FRAME RAIL, A 22″-24″ INSIDE FRAME DIMENSION,
AND THE OIL PAN RAIL IS APPROXIMATELY LEVEL WITH THE TOP OF THE FRAME RAIL, GIVE OR TAKE 1/2″,
THEN THESE SHOULD WORK FOR YOU.
IF THE OIL PAN RAIL IS LOWER THAN THE TOP OF THE FRAME, THEN REMOVING THE SPACERS OR TRIMMING
THE FRAME BRACKET SO IT FITS INSIDE THE FRAME RAIL MAY BE NECESSARY (1948 & OLDER APPLICATIONS).
AS WITH ALL OUR MOTOR MOUNTS, OUR RUBBER MOUNTS ARE A HIGH QUALITY
INDUSTRIAL GRADE MOUNT THAT HAS A POSITIVE STOP WHEN YOU BOLT THEM UP
UNLIKE MANY OF OUR COMPETITORS THAT USE A FORD FLATHEAD KNOCKOFF
MOUNT WITH NO POSITIVE STOP OR IN SOME CASES THE RUBBER DISINTEGRATES
WITHIN JUST A FEW MONTHS OF INSTALLATION. THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH OURS.
